OMG. I shall sell all cars. I shall only drive V12s from now own. Dog's engine must be converted to V12 too. Not sure how that will work exactly.
All devices and beings must use V12 power

Not all V12s are ungodly expensive ;)

Better looking car, same wonderful noise

The 412 is possibly my favorite F1 cars. Possibly only second to the Lamborghini engined monsters!

not the best handling car, but bonus points for manual trans

Engine wasn't half bad, but it needed to be in a better chassis. Still sounded glorious!

Indeed it does. In my Autosport Senna tribute magazine, he said the Lambo engine was good, and he wanted it in his 1993 car. Too bad he got the Ford.

I actually heard about this, I just didn't have a source to back it up other than people on the internet, and now I do!

I like V8s.
its the sweet spot of engine noises. Not to mention they have been used successfully for pretty much anything. Including a food blender.

Seriously that Jag sounds amazing

You know what you must do. Buy this car> make engine into racing engine> straight pipes.

Now that these Jaaaags are older is there a body of knowledge on how to make them more reliable? They have a reputation for being bears to maintain. But man that sound....
![]() 12/07/2013 at 23:42 |

There probably is, I mean the engine can't be too unreliable. . . can it. Either way, just google some forums for this or something. They have to exist.

I'm too scared to. I might find solutions. And then I will want to buy one. And I have negative money for new toys right now.
I always loved how that Jag looked too. That would be one sick race car!

I am currently having dreams of this being my track car. It would be a fun car to work on that is for sure. Don't know how well stocked parts are for it though. . .

There are 11 V12 Jag coupes for under $15,000 within 500 miles of me:

But there are none with manuals anywhere in the country, for any price. Manual conversion here we come

HOLY CRAP! I was expecting them to be under 5K. Dreams crushed. . . until I get out of college at least.

What are you majoring in?
![]() 12/08/2013 at 04:08 |

Technically I am still a pharmacy major(that is what it says should change soon), but I switched over to engineering last semester and I am now working on becoming a mechanical engineer.

Cool. Any type of engineering should pay well. Such a shortage of engineers right now! Too many people that want to be sales people or managers. Not enough qualified engineers to build stuff

My parents tried telling me that engineering is a bad field that will end up with me getting fired every 2 years from a job. . . they really didn't want me to become an engineer.

No way! It's a great field. There will always be jobs for you. You'll be designing the robots that put everyone else out of jobs
